Alishia Terrill
The woman who guides the business
forward into the future
Born in 1963 in the metro Detroit area, Alishia was raised with her five siblings in Madison Heights, Michigan. After attending one year of community college studying criminal law and psychology, Alishia married her high school sweetheart at 19 years old. She left Michigan with her husband who joined the United States Navy and was stationed at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florida. Having spent the following three years in Jacksonville, Florida, then moving to the Philadelphia area, Alishia entered the legal field as a legal assistant. Her nine years as a legal assistant with the prestigious law firms of Duane, Morris & Heckscher and Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz, included areas such as insurance law, criminal law, intellectual property, probate & estate law, as well as medical malpractice and litigation.
Alishia began her financial services career in 1997 as an administrative assistant to the Head of the Securities Division of Sam Swanson & Associates out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her duties required her to become a registered representative which allowed her to have close contact with both clients and mutual fund company representatives. After two and a half years, Alishia decided to go into the field as an independent producer. She joined her husband, Guy, and father-in-law, Merlin, when they formed Terrill Financial Group, LLC in 2000.
As Alishia had experience in the securities area, she devoted her time and studies and obtained her Series 7 Registration in May 2001, which allows her to offer General Securities products. Alishia first qualified for Million Dollar Roundtable MDRT in 2007 and has again qualified in 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011. Alishia is currently studying for her CFP through the College for Financial Planning. Alishia is licensed in Michigan, Illinois, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Oregon.
